The first computer I had was an Apple IIc, and although I did spend some time playing around with Apple Basic, the first language I actually learnt to properly program in was Cobol on a MicrovaxII running VMS.
Since then I have programmed in Uniface, C(AIX Unix), Borland C/C++, Delphi, Microsoft Visual C, Java, Microsoft VB.NET and C#.NET.
The operating system platforms I have developed on include VMS, IBM AIX and various windows platforms from 3.0 up.
I have extensive experience with MSSQL Server and Oracle databases and with SQL, both as an ad-hoc query tool and for writing stored procedures.
